The " Taipei Information Park and Parking Lot BOT Project " project organized by the Department of Finance, Taipei City Government received the Government Agency Superior Award at the 21st Golden Thumb Awards. The Ministry of Finance selected this project as the featured case study for this year's Golden Thumb Awards. On April 18, 2024 (Thursday), an observation event was held at the Syntrend Creative Park, where the Department of Finance,Taipei City Government shared insights into the project's success and key factors. The success story was also featured in the Ministry of Finance's April 2024 newsletter on promoting private participation.
Commissioner Hu Hsiao-lan of the Department of Finance stated that since its operation in 2014, the Taipei Information Park and Parking Lot BOT project has not only met the local parking demands but also fostered the development of local information and startup industries by integrating various fields such as technology, innovation cultivation, and 3C communication. This project has received outstanding achievements in both the "Government Agency " and "Private Team" categories at the 21st Golden Thumb Awards, fully exemplifying the spirit of public-private collaboration and creating a triple-win situation for the people, businesses, and government. It is hoped that both parties can continue to maintain a strong partnership in the future, enhancing the efficiency of public infrastructure services in Taipei City.
